Apple to Launch 3 HDTV Models by March 2012?

Global Equities Research’s Trip Chowdhry issued a research note to investors indicating that Apple is planning to launch three HDTV models by March 2012. The report is relayed by AppleInsider: He said his “converged view” of data from various developers is “probably” 75 percent accurate, and that it will “probably” be launched in March of 2012, with developer sessions at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Foxconn to Replace a Portion of its Workers with 1 Million Robots

Xinhuanet reports that Foxconn will be replacing some of its workers with 1 million robots in the next three years to cut rising labor costs and improve efficiency. The robots will be used to do simple and routine work such as spraying, welding and assembling which are now mainly conducted by workers, said Gou The company currently has 10,000 robots and employs 1.2 million people. Apple has won the upper hand in its dispute over iPods.com this weekend with a World Intellectual Property Organization ruling granting it control of the domain. Apple refunds excess charges for Lion downloads

Apple on Saturday began reversing some of the excess charges it accidentally applied to some Lion buyers. Court: Personal Audio can’t double-dip on Apple lawsuits

Texas district Judge Ron Clark on Friday dismissed Personal Audio’s attempts to sue Apple again over its audio player patent. He determined that Apple’s $8 million in damages amounted to a “fully paid up license” not just for the iPod but also for the iPad, iPhone, and Mac.
