Chinese writers double damage demands in App Store lawsuit
A group of nine Chinese writers have amended a December court filing against Apple to almost double the amount of damages sought, according to Macworld. Having previously sought 11.9 million yuan in their App Store piracy case, the group — operating as the China Written Works Copyright Society — is now asking for 23 million yuan, or about $3.65 million. NuForce debuts Air DAC for CD-quality audio streaming

Perth, Australia to get second Apple Store

Chinese writers double request for damages in Apple piracy suit

Apple Releases EFI Firmware Updates for Mac Mini, iMac, MacBook Air and Pro [Mac Blog]
Apple just released new firmware updates for the full range of Macs released in 2011, which apparently all fix the same issues. This update improves the reliability of booting from the network, addresses an issue that can prevent HDCP authentication after a reboot, and resolves an issue with boot device selection when a USB storage device is hot-plugged.
