Ask iLounge: Resetting Forgotten Passcode on iPod touch
Q: What can I do when my iPod touch says it’s disabled and I have forgotten my passcode? – Nathan A: If your lock screen is showing a message that your device is disabled, thus preventing you from trying any more pass codes, you can reset this simply by syncing with your primary iTunes library. This will not unlock your device, but it will reset the counter and allow you to try again right away. This will work whether you are syncing over USB… Continue reading

Ask iLounge: Travelling with iTunes Match
Q: Does iLounge have any tips for traveling with regard to iTunes Match? I ask because connectivity to the “cloud” is not assured when traveling, even domestically: airport and hotel Wi-Fi often is often unreliable, aircraft Wi-Fi is next to non-existent, and 4G/LTE isn’t an option in flight. Without an Internet connection, the “Cloud” is out of reach, and iTunes Match becomes worthless. – Farnsworth A: Using iTunes… Continue reading
