Classic game Another World now available on iOS

Original developer Eric Chahi, in collaboration with French companies DotEmu and publisher BulkyPix has released a “20th Anniversary Edition” of his classic computer game Another World (called “Out of This World” in France) for iOS, featuring lightly upgraded graphics for HD and Retina displays (with the option of using the original graphics). Financial Times: web-based app more popular than iOS app

Going with an HTML5-based web app rather than using Apple’s App Store has paid off for the London-based Financial Times, which says it now has more than 700,000 subscribers through its own portal, making it more popular than the native apps that were offered until the end of the August, when Apple and the FT parted ways, largely over the former’s refusal to divulge subscriber data.
